in the southern province of Fermo.

 1 hour from Ancona airport

1 hour 30 minutes from Pescara airport

The villa is 3 hours from Bolonga, Perugia & Rome airports

Had a fabulous holiday in beautiful typical Italian accommodation with all mod cons, surrounded by stunning scenery.  Enjoyed wining and dining on the various patio areas around the farmhouse, under pergolas covered in flowers and vines (well they soon will be!), swimming in the lovely pool and sunbathing on the terrace. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. There were 12 of us plus a baby and it was a wonderful experience.  We would all highly recommend the pomegranate for a beautiful relaxed holiday and a base to explore the surrounding countryside and Adriatic coastline.  Our one week stay was too short and we will definitely be back to enjoy this Italian experience. Will keep in touch with you and if you ever plan to visit Scotland let us know and you can visit. I would like to thank you and Candy for a fantastic stay.  The pomegranate is a lovely place - we were very comfortable there and the kids had a great time with the pool, trampoline and generally running around the place.  We also really enjoyed Candy’s cooking! Simon Herbert & Co

Dear Daniel & family

We loved the house and location.  Views were great, and the pool was good.  The peace and quiet was lovely, for us coming from the congested south of England.  What worked particularly well about the layout of the house and grounds was the number of different living areas, both indoor and outdoor, allowing everyone space when they wanted it. We tried all of the restaurants recommended in your notes in the house, and were pleased with them all.  Highlight for the adults was undoubtedly l Piceni in Ortezanno – worth the trek for a “grown ups“ night out.  Other restaurants we liked were some on the seafront in Porto San Giorgio, but don’t remember the names.  Favourite outing for the kids was the big water park to the South.   It was good having you both nearby, particularly for advice on local activities, and as I mentioned in the previous message having your kids around worked very well for our group.  Thanks & regards John Liddy

Hi Daniel, Candida, Elettra and Achille, We thought we would drop you an e-mail to let you know how very much we enjoyed our stay this summer - we were part of the 'Paula' party! The villa itself is beautiful, with well appointed rooms and well equipped facilities. The pool is a great size and certainly needed the shaded area in the very hot weather - we are just not used to such heat! The views from all aspects of the villa were superb - what better way to enjoy outdoor living and eating than looking out over rolling Italian countryside with the mountains in the far distance. Your sustainable 'green' objectives in the development of the villa and surrounding land are commendable. Your hospitality and helpfulness were very much appreciated and made the stay all the more enjoyable. We wish you every success.  Ciao - John & Linda

Dear Daniel & Candy, I would just like to say how much everyone enjoyed staying at the villa.

You both made us feel very welcome and I hope you will let us return another year.  Ian & Family

We found the villa a very relaxing place to stay.  All rooms had an en-suite bathroom which was a huge bonus and having young children we liked the fact that the pool was safely tucked away with access only via a gate. The kitchen was amazing – a delight to cook in, as for the views, we spent many calming moments gazing at the mountains and we grew very fond of the farmer on his tractor going up and down the surrounding fields droning like a bee in the distance!  Quite the rural retreat. Yet, just 20 minutes away were the sandy beaches of the Adriatic coast for the children to enjoy, and for us the highlight of our stay was the trip to the mountain villages, just an hour away - and the swim in the fresh water Lake Fiastra.  We also had a most enjoyable evening out for some adventurous “grown up” cuisine at the restaurant 'I Piceni' in the hill-top village of Ortezzano, we would highly recommend it when the pizza and pasta get too much!
